Chinese Medicine Development Fund Management of Hyperlinks between External Websites and the Websites of the development Fund
GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTING HYPERLINKS FROM EXTERNAL WEBSITES TO THE FUND WEBSITE 1. The Chinese Medicine Development Fund (the Fund) welcomes the creation of hyperlinks from external websites to the Fund Website. No prior approval from the Implementation Agent of the Fund is required for hyperlink to the "home page" of the Fund Website (http://www.cmdevfund.hk/) by any external websites.
2. However, if the hyperlink from external websites is to a specific page of the Fund Website, prior written approval from the Implementation Agent is needed. Such approval by the Implementation Agent would normally be given unless the linkage is not to the best interest of the Fund as judged by the Implementation Agent. In the latter case, the Implementation Agent will reject such request and would advise the requesting external websites to link to the home page of the Fund Website.
3. Where prior application for approval is needed, the requesting website may lodge its hyperlink request to the Implementation Agent through email (enquiry@cmdevfund.hk) or by letter addressing to the Implementation Agent (HKPC Building, 78 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon, Hong Kong) and stating clearly the details and objectives of the website, and the reasons for hyperlink to the Fund Website. The Implementation Agent will reply to the requesting website within one month.
4. In any case, loading of the contents of the Fund Website into a frame on the linked website is not allowed.
5. The Implementation Agent may, at its absolute discretion, request any websites to remove any hyperlink to the Fund Website at any time without giving any reason.
6. It should be noted that hyperlink to the Fund Website is always not permitted for any external website if it contains material which is libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene, or breach of the laws of the HKSAR or intellectual property rights.
7. The Fund is not obliged to establish a reciprocal link to the requesting external websites following the establishment of a hyperlink from the Fund Website to the external websites.
8. Unless otherwise approved by the Implementation Agent, only the name, Chinese Medicine Development Fund, and website address of the Fund, i.e. http://www.cmdevfund.hk/, shall be displayed on the external websites.
9. Any hyperlinks to the Fund Website by external websites shall not constitute or be construed as any form of co-operation with or endorsement of the external websites by the HKSAR Government, Health Bureau (HHB), the Advisory Committee (AC) or the Implementation Agent.
HYPERLINKS FROM THE FUND WEBSITE TO EXTERNAL WEBSITES 10. The Fund Website also provides hyperlinks to external websites related to Chinese medicine sectors. The hyperlinks provided from the Fund Website to any third parties' websites are entirely for the users' convenience only. The HKSAR Government, the Health Bureau (HHB), the Advisory Committee (AC) or the Implementation Agent of the Chinese Medicine Development Fund shall not be deemed to endorse, recommend, approve, guarantee or introduce any third parties or the services/ products they provide on their websites, or to have any form of cooperation with such third parties and websites unless otherwise stated specifically by the HKSAR Government, the FHB, the AC or the Implementation Agent.
11. The HKSAR Government, the HHB, the AC or the Implementation Agent is not in any way responsible for the content of any externally linked websites. The users use or follow these links at your own risk and the HKSAR Government, the HHB, the AC or the Implementation Agent is not responsible for any damages or losses incurred or suffered by you arising out of or in connection with your use of the link.
12. Users of this website are reminded that when you click on a link and leave this website, you will be subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of the other websites that you are going to visit.
